In 2019, the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre was for the first time included in the QS World University Ranking, which is one of the top international ranking systems measuring the popularity and performance of universities from all over the world. Being the only music university from Baltic states on the QS list, EAMT is currently sharing position 51-100 in the category of performing arts with such reputable music academies as Cologne, Leipzig and Munich (Germany), F. Liszt Music Academy (Hungary) and the Royal Academy of Music Aarhus/Aalborg (Denmark).
Expenses
The application fee is EUR 70 and normally needs to be paid by bank transfer. Tuition fees apply to all international students whose language of tuition is English. The fees range from EUR 1500 to EUR 13000 per year depending on the study programme and your country of origin (EU or non-EU). Detailed information about the fees can be found here. A limited number of scholarships are available for international students. Auditions for the scholarships usually take place at the end of September. There is no tuition fee for doctoral studies. Students studying full time at doctoral level have the right to receive a monthly stipend.
