Overview
Instruction in brass, woodwind and percussion performance at EAMT is grounded in individual lessons from leading professionals. Our faculty members include renowned teachers who have long served in eminent Estonian orchestras and chamber music ensembles, many of whom have also distinguished themselves as sought-after solo performers, including abroad.
Students study both classical and contemporary techniques and repertoire, benefitting from a diverse range of performance opportunities and collaborations. Our university has worked to increase its international standing, as is demonstrated by student exchange statistics: the number of incoming foreign students and exchange students regularly exceeds the number of our own students leaving for universities abroad.
The programme offers instruction in a wide variety of instruments, including flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, saxophone, horn, trumpet, trombone, tuba, euphonium and percussion.
