International business competition Peak Time

Peak Time 2014, the biggest international business competition for students in Eastern Europe, is happening for the 15th time in Riga, Latvia. Each year Peak Time attracts up to 2000 applicants from around 70 countries. Every year Peak Time attracts around 2000 students from 70 countries, i.e., USA, Germany, UK, Brazil, Canada, Singapore, Sweden, China, Italy, and others.

Participants of the competition are tested in their analytic and decision making skills in an online business simulation provided by Cesim, but their ability to provide creative solutions for real life business problems is challenged in case studies prepared by consultancy companies.

The most successful 20 teams and 20 individuals are selected for the 3 day finals in Riga, Latvia, where the best and most motivated in the world can network among themselves, see amazing guest lectures by respected speakers on the topic and compete in intense simulations and case studies based on real problems.

Teams and individuals which break to the finals in Riga not only compete for main prizes, but also have an opportunity to listen to world famous speakers and attend social and networking events. Peak Time 2014 is the place where businesses and students meet face-to-face to provide an adequate assessment for everyone – students, universities and companies.

This year the Peak Time 2014 official topic will be: ‘Corporate Social Responsibility and Social Business’.
